Senior Consultant – Healthcare Advisory (Security & Compliance)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Healthcare Advisory practice, focusing on security, risk, and compliance for healthcare organisations. The role combines deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks with client‑facing consulting experience to drive digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead up to three concurrent healthcare engagements, overseeing delivery, timelines and budgets.
• Manage junior consultants, delegate tasks and ensure quality of work.
• Participate in scoping calls, provide technical input for sales opportunities and develop thought‑leadership content such as white papers and webinars.
• Assess client environments against NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST and other frameworks, identify gaps and design remediation road‑maps.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA and sales teams to create tailored security packages and integrate emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools.
• Support clients in third‑party risk programmes, audit readiness and resiliency planning.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in the healthcare sector.
• Proven consulting background, including project management and C‑suite communication.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engagements, mentor junior staff and drive initiatives from inception to delivery.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of NIST‑800‑53, 800‑30, 800‑37, 800‑39, 800‑61, 800‑161.
• Expertise in HIPAA, HITRUST and CMS compliance.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001/27002 and AI RMF.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, HCISPP, CCSK, CIPP/US, etc.) are a plus.
