Senior Cloud Engineer - DevOps & DevSecOps

About the role

You will join a technical pod building and operating cloud portal workloads across Azure and GCP. The role focuses on DevOps and DevSecOps, covering infrastructure as code, secure CI/CD pipelines, automation and reliability engineering. Full‑stack comfort is required as you will also contribute to portal application code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP.
• Enforce configuration standards and policy‑as‑code across environments.
• Build and operate scalable, secure Azure and GCP environments (AKS/GKE, App Gateway, VNets, NSGs, Key Vault, Managed Identities).
• Implement governance, cost optimisation and compliance controls.
• Build and optimise Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines, including blue/green, canary and rollback strategies with observability.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning, code analysis and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows; manage secrets and certificates.
• Contribute to portal application code (modern JavaScript/TypeScript front‑end, REST API back‑end) and wire applications into the platform.
• Implement proactive monitoring with Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana and define SLOs/SLIs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability or Platform Engineering with full‑stack exposure.
• Proven experience designing and automating cloud architectures on Azure (preferred) or GCP/AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes and reusable module design.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and container security practices.
• Ability to write scripts in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Comfortable developing or maintaining modern web applications (JS/TS front‑end, REST back‑end).
