Senior AR & Billing Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior AR & Billing Accountant to join our global accounts receivable team. This hands‑on position covers billing, collections, accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end billing and AR processes for global entities, reviewing contracts and ensuring accurate invoicing.
• Manage collection activities, customer follow‑ups, escalations and maintain AR aging reports and forecasts.
• Reconcile AR aging and customer balances with the general ledger, investigating discrepancies, FX differences and unapplied receipts.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing with journal entries, reconciliations and cut‑off procedures.
• Provide AR data for cash‑flow reporting, treasury planning and management reporting, and assist audits.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Treasury and Accounting, ensuring data consistency across NetSuite, Salesforce and internal billing platforms.
• Handle billing through global cloud marketplaces, reconciling transactions, fees and payouts.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in AR, billing, accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong accounting knowledge with hands‑on month‑end close and balance‑sheet reconciliation experience.
• Hands‑on experience with global cloud marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to reconcile AR aging to the general ledger and prepare collection forecasts and cash reports.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent written and spoken English.
