Remote Bilingual English/Spanish Litigation Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a remote, bilingual (English/Spanish) litigation paralegal to support attorneys at a busy U.S. law firm. The role focuses on personal injury, employment, criminal, and family law matters, primarily under California procedural rules. You will work from home, handling case management, client communication, document preparation, and legal research.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in managing case files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining client notes.
• Draft, edit, and file legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions in compliance with California law.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and conducting interviews.
• Research California statutes and case law, summarizing findings for case strategy.
• Organize digital and physical case materials, prepare exhibits, and support court or deposition preparation.
• Provide translation and interpretation services for documents and client meetings.
• Support administrative tasks including calendar management, billing, and time tracking.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field, or a paralegal certificate from an approved institution.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a litigation paralegal in a U.S. law firm, preferably with California cases.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher) and Spanish with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours from a quiet, professional home office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management platforms such as Clio and MyCase.
• Strong understanding of California legal procedures and filing requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
