Production & Revenue Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Production & Revenue Accounting Analyst will perform advanced analysis of production and revenue accounting data, supporting financial reporting and ensuring compliance with agreements, regulations, and royalty obligations. This role is based in ExxonMobil's Global Business Center in Buenos Aires and works closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute bank reconciliations, accounting entries, tax filings and payments.
• Analyze variances and discrepancies, investigate expense and collection issues.
• Process transactions, validate sales volumes and support financial close activities (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Maintain month‑end accounting close processes for assigned areas.
• Interact with business stakeholders, resolve inquiries from internal customers and external contacts.
• Prepare and submit accurate government and regulatory reports on time.
• Participate in process‑improvement and automation projects to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented, customer‑focused and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations and teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficiency with BlackLine, SAP and advanced Excel.
• Experience using analytics and automation tools.
