Product Designer – Core Data Visualization & Workflow Tools

About the role

Profound is building tools that help companies visualise and control their AI presence. As a Product Designer you will own the design of core data‑visualisation and content‑workflow experiences, turning ambiguous problems into clear, high‑impact interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end product experiences, from early exploration through launch and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate strategy into thoughtful solutions.
• Explore multiple directions quickly using sketches, flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
• Refine layout, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions to a high level of polish.
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals while maintaining a high bar for craft.
• Incorporate user feedback and qualitative insights to continuously improve the product.
• Contribute to the evolution of Profound’s design language, systems, and product vision.
• Participate in regular design critiques to give and receive feedback.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably in a fast‑moving startup or product‑focused company.
• Strong generalist with the ability to own the full design stack from flows to pixel‑perfect assets.
• Deep commitment to craft, clarity, simplicity, and execution.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a product‑thinking approach.
• Comfort experimenting with AI‑related tools and new design plugins.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem‑solving and high‑quality visual design.
