Node.js Software Engineer – Banking Project

About the role

Avenga is seeking a Node.js Software Engineer to join a banking project team. You will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes modern backend development, micro‑services architecture, and cloud‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and consume REST APIs for internal and external integration.
• Implement micro‑services‑based solutions on AWS infrastructure.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Support continuous improvement of fraud‑prevention systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EKS, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, and MSK.
• Experience building and maintaining micro‑services.
• Ability to work onsite in or near Cordoba for close team collaboration.
