Natural Gas Scheduler

About the role

Chevron is seeking a Scheduler to manage and coordinate natural gas dispatch activities for both company‑operated (COOP) and non‑operated joint‑venture (NOJV) assets. The role ensures that nominations, scheduling, and operational follow‑up comply with regulatory frameworks and commercial commitments while supporting the trading team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day natural gas dispatch for COOP, the trader, and NOJV, ensuring scheduling compliance.
• Operate and administer dispatch and transportation platforms (SPAC – TGS; ABII – TGN) to execute and monitor gas movements.
• Lead coordination with carriers and pipeline operators, handling imbalances and adjustments.
• Collaborate with YPF on dispatch‑related matters to maintain operational alignment.
• Support natural gas export operations and coordinate with counterparties.
• Ensure compliance with the natural gas regulatory framework and respond to regulator information requests.
• Analyze data and produce ad‑hoc reports for the trading team.
• Provide support to commercial administration, billing, and reporting across the Commercial area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in natural gas dispatch or trading.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of SPAC (TGS) platform.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ABII (TGN) platform.
• Working knowledge of the natural gas regulatory framework.
