Medical Science Liaison – Rare Diseases

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on rare diseases to act as a scientific bridge between the company and the medical community. The MSL will provide disease‑state and product information, support clinical discussions, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
• Deliver scientific presentations on disease areas, Amgen products, and current research to physicians and health‑care teams.
• Gather and relay clinical and market feedback from field experts to internal teams.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and access teams to ensure scientific accuracy in strategies and materials.
• Identify treatment trends and emerging needs in the rare‑disease space.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biomedicine).
• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of rare diseases and an established network of KOLs.
