Manager, Strategic Process Improvement & Programs

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Manager to lead strategic process improvement and program initiatives across its global operations. The role focuses on analyzing current processes, designing future-state workflows, and driving continuous improvement to support the company’s mission of accelerating customer success in the life sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and root causes using stakeholder input and data.
• Develop future-state workflows, documentation, and role clarity recommendations to standardize and simplify work.
• Maintain detailed program and project plans, including scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, budgets, and success measures.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints to keep delivery on track.
• Prepare concise program reporting for leadership, highlighting progress, outcomes, emerging risks, and required decisions.
• Partner with technology, operations, and business teams to assess AI, automation, and workflow enablement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, life sciences, IT, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional projects or workstreams focused on business process improvement or enterprise transformation.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated application of process‑improvement methodologies.
• Program management experience with planning, governance, risk/issue management, and benefits realization; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
