Lead Tech Recruiter (LATAM)

About the role

SunnyData is looking for a Lead Tech Recruiter to drive the end‑to‑end hiring of Data & AI talent across Latin America. Reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will lead a small LATAM recruiting team while managing the full recruitment lifecycle for high‑impact technical roles.

Key responsibilities

• Source, attract and engage Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Solutions Architects, Full‑Stack Developers and Technical Product Managers through job boards, social media, networking and talent pools.
• Manage the complete recruitment process—from screening and interviewing to offer negotiation—ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Act as an informal lead for the LATAM recruiting team, setting weekly priorities, distributing requisitions and coaching junior recruiters.
• Track pipeline metrics, report progress and risks to the VP of Talent Acquisition, and continuously improve recruiting processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technology roles, with at least 2 years leading a small recruiting team.
• Proven track record recruiting Data & AI positions in a consulting or professional‑services environment.
• Experience recruiting across multiple LATAM countries and fluency in English (advanced level).
• Strong communication, customer‑centric mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
