Field Sales Engineer – IP Audio Solutions (Argentina)

About the role

We are seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive sales growth of IP audio solutions across Argentina, focusing on video intercoms, security communications, paging, and background music. The role works closely with Axis Regional Sales Managers to support pre‑ and post‑sales activities and critical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end pre‑ and post‑sales support for IP audio opportunities, including detailed system designs and site surveys.
• Perform calculations for coverage, dB levels, bandwidth, storage and create BOMs, schematics and CAD/Visio drawings.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet expectations and performance goals.
• Deliver technology‑specific training and presentations to customers.
• Represent Axis at industry trade shows and events.
• Serve as backup for other sales engineers and travel regionally (up to 35% travel).
• Maintain and update the AXIS Experience Center for IP audio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering or Information Systems.
• 4+ years of customer‑facing pre‑sales experience, preferably in network video or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑centric attitude with the ability to convey complex technologies clearly.
