Director of Programmatic Partnerships

About the role

The Director of Programmatic Partnerships is a senior commercial leader reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the growth and optimisation of Kivi’s global programmatic ecosystem, driving both supply and demand relationships with a focus on the Open Market.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and close complex supply‑ and demand‑side partnerships, expanding Kivi’s footprint in the programmatic landscape.
• Sell Kivi’s premium inventory to DSPs, agencies and trading desks, defining the technical and commercial value proposition.
• Lead and mentor the Partnerships Manager, providing strategic direction and technical guidance.
• Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline to ensure accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with Operations to analyse performance data, extract commercial insights and guide yield‑optimisation strategies.
• Negotiate commercial terms, revenue shares, CPM floors, SLA clauses and volume commitments, working closely with legal and finance teams.

Required profile

• Senior commercial leader with a proven track record in business development and high‑value deal closure.
• Deep understanding of programmatic advertising mechanics, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges and data providers.
• Strong strategic leadership and the ability to mentor junior team members.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to CRM and pipeline accuracy.
