Director, Marketing Strategy

About the role

The Director, Marketing Strategy leads the development and execution of country‑level marketing strategies for a defined group of markets, acting as the voice of those markets within the global organization. The role drives growth, innovation, and customer experience improvements in collaboration with product, business, and global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead country‑level marketing strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with local business goals and commercial priorities.
• Identify and lead new product, service, and value‑proposition opportunities based on market insights and customer needs.
• Coordinate customer experience initiatives and embed customer‑centric thinking into marketing and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Provide market insights, support research, and act as subject‑matter expert for consumer behavior and competitive dynamics.
• Partner with sales and business development to create B2B sales enablement materials and shape long‑term positioning strategies.
• Oversee a small regional team to execute campaigns, adapt content, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including regional or cross‑functional leadership.
• Proven success developing and delivering effective B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies that drive measurable business impact.
• Strong business acumen, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and experience working in matrixed, multinational environments.
