Cybersecurity Senior Associate – SIEM & SOAR - SecOps

About the role

Pwc is looking for a Senior Associate to join its SIEM & SOAR SecOps team. In this position you will design, implement and maintain security monitoring solutions that protect client digital assets and help them meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom parsers to ingest logs into Google’s Unified Data Model.
• Troubleshoot log sources and write, tune, and maintain custom detection rules.
• Build and refine automated response playbooks using automation blocks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional cybersecurity professionals to deliver high‑quality client engagements.
• Conduct security audits and provide recommendations to improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Ability to work independently while building strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to interpret complex security data.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms and log management.
• SOAR automation and playbook development.
• Google Cloud services, especially data ingestion and modeling.
