Country Product Manager – LATAM

About the role

Deel is building its payroll operations for LATAM countries and needs a founding product leader to design and launch payroll, HR, time tracking and related products. This is a greenfield opportunity to own end‑to‑end product strategy and execution for a new market.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy for payroll, HR, time and services across LATAM.
• Work with a dedicated engineering team to execute the roadmap and ship early versions.
• Coordinate across product, compliance, payroll, HR and time‑tracking teams to align dependencies.
• Break complex regulatory requirements into iterative pieces, ship, learn and iterate.
• Own relationships with key accounts, validate solutions with sales, implementation and local compliance teams.

Required profile

• Based in LATAM with fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and external partners.
• Pragmatic systems thinking to understand how payroll, HR, time tracking and compliance fit together.

Required skills

• Experience building payroll systems or working in payroll product roles (preferred).
• Knowledge of Brazilian and broader LATAM payroll, tax or labor regulations (preferred).
