Analyst C&I Support - Supervising Associate

About the role

EY is looking for a Supervising Associate to join its Global R&DA team, which provides financial reporting, analytics and insights support for the Global Clients & Industries (C&I) organization. The role works closely with senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely and commercially focused reporting and analysis that supports business decisions. It suits a candidate with 7+ years of experience in professional services or other leading global organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned reports and analyses on time and accurately, keeping stakeholders and colleagues informed of progress and issues.
• Ask the right questions so outputs match business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Build a broad understanding of EY's reporting portfolio to cover for other team members.
• Reconcile data from multiple sources and investigate variances to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Act as a trusted business advisor to finance and business stakeholders, presenting findings clearly and managing expectations with regular updates.
• Support process improvement, document reporting processes and business logic, and help develop, test and deploy new reporting tools.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in professional services or other leading global organizations.
• Strong aptitude for commercial financial reporting and analysis, with quick learning of complex commercial finance concepts.
• Able to work independently and collaborate in a geographically diverse team, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Curious, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• SQL: design and develop queries, and troubleshoot complex ones written by others.
• Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel, including complex formulas, data modelling and automation.
• Experience with large financial and operational datasets.
• Understanding of concepts such as Wins, Pipeline, Backlog, Revenue and Margin.
