Assistant Director, Global Managed Services Finance

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is looking for an Assistant Director to join its Global Managed Services Finance team. The role supports strategic and operational decision making through data-driven, insightful business analysis, works closely with other ES Finance team members, and turns large data sets into clear analysis and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go-to contact for financial and business analysis, supporting MS and MS Leaders and building strong relationships with the wider Finance team and leadership.
• Focus on traditional performance management while helping establish next-generation reporting frameworks.
• Lead the development, management and delivery of performance reporting and financial analysis for Managed Services initiatives.
• Build dashboards, reports and presentations so business leaders can quickly grasp performance and its drivers.
• Provide ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis for business planning and strategy.
• Work across EY regions, service lines, Finance and Markets to provide one source of truth for Global Managed Services performance.
• Run short- and medium-term forecasting activities and use EY's Opportunity and Engagement data to spot trends, risks and opportunities.
• Improve data quality, reporting tools and analytical methods, manage issues and ensure compliance with EY's financial policies and governance.

Required profile

• Graduate and/or professional certification in a business subject such as accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or business analysis, preferably in professional services.
• Experience developing reporting frameworks and defining key performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently across several projects, in a global, multicultural virtual team.

• Advanced Excel, data modelling, Power BI and PowerPoint.
• Financial and markets reporting, data analysis and performance measurement.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
