UI/UX Designer

About the role

LegalSight is seeking a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, data‑dense web applications for legal professionals. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate complex requirements into clear, secure, and user‑friendly designs.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain style guides and component libraries in Figma.
• Translate hypotheses and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop design specifications, proof‑of‑concept solutions, and design systems that address business needs.
• Incorporate feedback from product, development, sales, and operations teams and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• Design for multiple user roles (Project Manager, Vendor, Client, Sales) and ensure uniform design patterns across the product.

Required profile

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of complex, data‑rich web applications.
• Self‑starter who can work with ambiguous or incomplete requirements and visualize exploratory design directions.
• Ability to identify and design for edge cases, empty states, and error conditions.
• Proactive in researching and sourcing design assets and improving design processes.
• Willingness to learn about legal‑tech workflows and contribute to software and process standards.

Required skills

• Expertise in Figma, including component libraries, auto‑layout, and variables.
• Experience with online whiteboarding tools and project‑management software.
• Ability to build and maintain design systems and assets.
