Tax Technology & Process Specialist

About the role

The Tax Technology & Process Specialist supports the Tax function by ensuring efficient use, continuous improvement, and governance of tax‑related processes within SAP BOLD and related systems. Acting as a bridge between Tax, IT, process teams and external providers, the role translates business needs into system solutions, allowing Tax teams to focus on core activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Tax, IT, process teams and external vendors.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and system designs.
• Coordinate system enhancements, testing, issue resolution and development requests.
• Identify and implement process improvement, automation and standardisation opportunities across regions.
• Maintain process documentation, support user training and ensure high‑quality system governance and adoption.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Tax, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience with SAP environments (S/4HANA preferred) and tax‑related systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and process‑oriented mindset.
• Proven collaboration with IT teams on system implementations and testing.
• Advanced English proficiency.
