Solutions Architect

About the role

Possumus is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions for clients in Banking, Fintech, and Oil & Gas. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business needs with technical delivery throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, and solution‑definition activities with clients and internal teams.
• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures, documenting principles, assumptions, risks, and trade‑offs.
• Translate business challenges into actionable solution alternatives, roadmaps, and cost estimates.
• Support pre‑sales activities including proposals, RFPs, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with Growth, Delivery, Engineering, Data, AI, Security, and Operations to ensure feasibility and sustainability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional technology experience, with at least 4 years in solution architecture or technical consulting.
• Proven ability to design complex enterprise solutions and communicate technical concepts to executive audiences.
• Strong client orientation, consultative mindset, and ability to manage ambiguity and stakeholder priorities.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) and ability to lead workshops and presentations in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, including microservices, event‑driven, APIs, and application modernization.
• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure AI, Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Generative AI, RAG patterns).
• Security and governance expertise (Zero Trust, Identity & Access Management, Azure Well‑Architected Framework).
• DevOps/DevSecOps practices: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, observability, FinOps.
