SEO Manager – Remote (Latin America & South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead the SEO department of a digital marketing agency that serves dental and healthcare clients. The role is fully remote, focused on driving organic growth through comprehensive SEO strategies and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small SEO team, including two offshore assistants.
• Develop and execute technical, on‑page, local, Google Business Profile, and AI‑driven SEO strategies.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical audits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Work with content, development, and client‑success teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Monitor organic performance, analyse data, and optimise campaigns for rankings, traffic and conversions.
• Prepare client reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Improve SEO workflows, quality‑assurance processes and documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Google algorithm changes, AI search trends and industry standards.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring remote/offshore SEO teams.
• Strong background in technical, on‑page, local SEO and AI search optimisation.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency, preferably serving U.S. clients.
• Healthcare or dental niche experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
