Senior Systems Engineer (L3) – Managed IT Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (L3) to join a managed IT services provider serving small businesses, primarily law firms and professional services. This is a genuine Tier‑3 position where you will own problems from first report to resolution without supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical escalations that currently reach the COO.
• Lead Microsoft and infrastructure projects end‑to‑end, including tenant migrations, Intune and Autopilot rollouts, Exchange and SharePoint deployments, server migrations, network builds, and security hardening.
• Mentor three junior technicians and lead the on‑call rotation.
• When escalation queues are quiet, shift to project work or assist with lower‑level tickets to keep client services moving.

Required profile

• Deep, hands‑on experience designing and deploying Intune and Autopilot rollouts from scratch.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Entra ID, mail flow, recovery).
• Solid networking background with Meraki, Fortigate, site‑to‑site VPN, and VLAN design.
• Real security incident‑response experience.
• Fluent English (C1+), capable of clear communication with executive clients.
• 5+ years of MSP experience (or equivalent) with a focus on design and independent problem solving.
