Senior Solana Developer – Blockchain Engineering

About the role

Securitize is seeking a Senior Solana Developer to join its global, fully‑remote blockchain engineering team. You will design and ship high‑performance Solana programs, integrate Token‑2022 extensions, and build cross‑chain bridges that power regulated digital securities for institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Solana programs using Anchor and native Rust.
• Implement Token‑2022 integrations such as transfer hooks, non‑transferable tokens, permanent delegation, and interest‑bearing extensions.
• Build and maintain cross‑chain bridges and messaging via Wormhole or similar protocols.
• Develop SPL token programs with compliance‑aware mint/burn mechanics and ACL‑gated on/off‑ramp flows.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to expose Solana program interfaces through Node.js/TypeScript services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on Solana program development.
• Deep understanding of Solana’s account model, PDA derivation, CPI patterns, and rent‑exemption mechanics.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with experience building or consuming REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Solana, Anchor framework, Rust.
• Token‑2022, SPL Token, PDA, CPI, durable nonces, ALTs.
• Wormhole (or similar cross‑chain) integration.
• TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines.
• Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin, ERC‑20/721 standards (nice to have).
