Senior SAP Functional Delivery Lead – Senior Manager

About the role

EY GDS is seeking a Senior Manager to lead SAP functional delivery for global clients. The role involves overseeing multiple SAP projects, ensuring successful implementation, rollout, support and continuous improvement across finance and controlling modules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP Finance and Controlling implementations, rollouts, upgrades and enhancements.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, acting as the primary interface for client stakeholders.
• Manage a delivery team of 10‑15 consultants, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Drive SAP integration with MM, SD, HR and PS modules and oversee closing, validation and reporting activities.
• Maintain high‑quality communication and status reporting to clients and internal leadership.

Required profile

• CA/ICWA (ICMA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
• 12+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling experience, preferably in an onsite‑offshore delivery model.
• Proven experience leading teams of 10‑15 members on complex SAP projects.
• Strong business communication skills and ability to work with global clients.

Required skills

• SAP FI modules: New General Ledger, Profit Center Accounting, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting.
• SAP Simple Finance – GL, Asset Accounting, CO – Overhead Cost Controlling & Profitability Analysis.
• SAP Finance Taxation, Withholding Taxes, Closing activities, Validations and Reporting.
• Controlling (CO): Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO‑PA, Product Costing.
• FI integration with MM, SD, HR & PS.
• Preferred: SAP BPC, Special Purpose Ledger, SOX, US GAAP, Report Painter, Report Writer.
• Reporting tools: SAP Fiori apps, SAP BO‑DS, SAP BW, SAP HANA.
