SAP Solution Architect – End‑to‑End SAP Solutions

About the role

The SAP Solution Architect will design, govern and guide end‑to‑end SAP solutions across finance, procurement and talent domains within a large enterprise landscape. You will ensure that all SAP components – S/4HANA (or ECC), Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors and related third‑party systems – are aligned with enterprise standards, SAP best practices and a Clean Core strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document end‑to‑end solution architectures for the SAP ecosystem.
• Design scalable, secure integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), standard APIs, IDocs and event‑driven patterns.
• Enforce Clean Core principles, minimizing custom code and leveraging standard SAP functionality.
• Act as design authority, reviewing functional designs, integration specifications and configuration changes.
• Identify architectural risks, technical debt and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support SAP transformation initiatives such as ECC‑to‑S/4HANA migrations, Ariba expansions and procurement modernisation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, delivery teams, and external vendors to ensure successful cut‑overs and post‑implementation stabilisation.
• Mentor functional and technical team members on SAP architecture and integration patterns.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture within large, complex enterprises.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and related modules (Finance, Procurement, Talent).
• Proven track record of designing and governing SAP integrations and extensions.
• Experience leading transformation programmes and working with system integrators.
