Senior React Native Engineer

About the role

Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to shape the next generation of its mobile ecosystem. You will lead the design and delivery of modular, cross‑platform applications that enable rapid rollout of new crypto experiences on iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable React Native applications using shared modules from mobile and backend platforms.
• Drive a modular architecture that assembles new apps from core building blocks such as auth, wallet, trading, and on‑ramp/off‑ramp.
• Define contracts and boundaries between modules to ensure flexibility and long‑term maintainability.
• Lead complex projects from technical design through delivery, collaborating with product, design, backend, and mobile teams.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) while enforcing standards for correctness, performance, and security.
• Own quality, performance, observability, and debugging of production systems.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise the overall engineering bar.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on React Native.
• Proven track record of shipping production‑grade mobile applications at scale.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.
• Experience designing modular, reusable systems and integrating complex backend APIs.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make technical decisions independently, and drive projects end‑to‑end.
