Senior Process Development Engineer

About the role

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer to join the RD&E team at the Pilar Plant in Buenos Aires. The role will drive new product development and product changes from laboratory trials through scale‑up and manufacturing implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute new product development and product change projects across multiple categories.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate laboratory and manufacturing scale trials.
• Prepare prototypes, optimize formulations, and validate testing methods.
• Provide technical support during scale‑up, generate project documentation, and participate in the New Product Development process.
• Collaborate with global technical platforms, cross‑functional partners, suppliers, and external partners in Argentina and LATAM.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Food Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in product or process development in consumer goods, chemical, food or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Intermediate/advanced English; basic Portuguese is desirable.
• Ability to work both in laboratory and manufacturing environments with strong self‑management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
