Senior iOS Engineer

About the role

Join GoFundMe’s Mobile team as a Senior iOS Engineer, working on a hybrid basis from Buenos Aires. You will help shape the architecture and delivery of front‑end features for a platform that supports millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive architectural, product and technology decisions for front‑end features.
• Implement new iOS features from scratch.
• Collaborate with product managers to define clear requirements, deliverables, and milestones.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Analyze and optimise UI and back‑end code for performance and efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Deep knowledge of object‑oriented development, multithreading, and memory management on mobile devices.
• Experience with caching mechanisms and writing unit‑tested, testable code.
• Familiarity with API integration and backend tech stacks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
