Senior Frontend Engineer – Medical Imaging Viewer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and enhance a web‑based medical imaging viewer that enables researchers and scientists to transform imaging data into actionable insights. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to tackle complex UI and API challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core functionality for a web‑based medical imaging viewer.
• Build user interfaces using TypeScript and ReactJS, and contribute to Angular‑based components when needed.
• Maintain and improve existing frontend features, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to analyze problems and deliver robust solutions.
• Coordinate with product and design to ensure intuitive, responsive UI aligned with the design system.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as refinement, planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and ReactJS.
• Proven experience with DICOM medical viewers, especially OHIF/DICOM.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency (B2).
