Senior Digital IC / Pre‑Silicon Platform Engineer

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team developing cutting‑edge semiconductors, photonics and radar sensors for automotive and industrial markets. You will focus on pre‑silicon platform engineering for advanced ADAS SoCs, delivering FPGA prototypes and supporting firmware development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and document RTL for digital IP blocks using Verilog.
• Integrate existing IP into high‑scale FPGA platforms, creating glue logic and clocking schemes.
• Deliver FPGA prototyping platforms to enable pre‑silicon firmware development.
• Collaborate with firmware and system teams on hardware/software partitioning and system‑level integration.
• Support silicon validation, bring‑up and benchmarking of FPGA‑based data‑path IPs against custom silicon.

Required profile

• MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of FPGA experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with international teams.
• Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and debuggers.
• Experience working in Linux‑based development environments.

Required skills

• Verilog RTL design and simulation.
• FPGA design flow (synthesis, place & route, STA) – preferably Xilinx Vivado/UltraScale+.
• AMBA bus protocols (APB, AHB, AXI) and communication interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet).
• C and Python programming; Tcl scripting is a plus.
• Version control (Git, SVN) and CI concepts.
