Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join its Argentina team. You will shape network security and cryptographic strategies, translating NIST standards into actionable device‑level signals for the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Map NIST SP 800‑series, PQC standards and crypto‑agility frameworks to telemetry, thresholds and policy values.
• Define monitoring benchmarks (Levels 1‑3) and ensure integration of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post‑Quantum Cryptography (PQC) at the protocol level.
• Collaborate with IonQ’s product team on cryptography and quantum protocol questions.
• Participate in stand‑ups, code reviews and design sessions as a full‑time product engineering member.
• Produce clear documentation and artifacts for leadership and customer security teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of network security operations and engineering experience.
• Deep hands‑on knowledge of NIST standards, telemetry, SLO/SLI definition and vulnerability management.
• Significant experience in at least one area: post‑quantum cryptography, QKD systems, or a NIST‑based crypto‑agility program.
• Strong written communication and ability to work within a product engineering team.
