Search Engine Optimization Manager (Remote)

About the role

Viva Talent is seeking an experienced SEO professional to own and expand its organic search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives. This remote position will lead the development of a high‑performing SEO function while shaping strategy across technical, content, and AI‑driven search.

Key responsibilities

• Own the SEO + AEO roadmap, set priorities, timelines, KPIs and drive day‑to‑day execution.
• Develop and execute a content strategy including keyword research, topic clustering, editorial briefs and alignment with business goals.
• Run technical SEO initiatives such as site architecture, crawl optimization, Core Web Vitals, schema markup and indexation.
• Build and implement an AEO strategy to improve visibility in AI search experiences like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
• Lead, coach and develop the SEO team, establishing clear ownership, reviewing work and fostering high performance.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years as an SEO Manager with hands‑on technical and content SEO experience.
• 5‑8+ years of professional SEO experience, having owned an end‑to‑end SEO roadmap.
• Experience with AEO/GEO and understanding of AI‑driven search changes.
• Proficiency with AirOps or similar SEO workflow tools.
• Advanced written and spoken English (C1 level) for communication with U.S. and international audiences.

Required skills

• Technical SEO: site architecture, crawl optimization, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Content strategy: keyword research, topic clustering, editorial briefs.
• AEO implementation.
• AirOps (or comparable) tool usage.
