Safety Manager

About the role

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Safety Manager for its CPS plant in Buenos Aires. This senior position leads the development and execution of the plant’s safety strategy, aiming for a “Zero is Possible” vision while ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, KORE, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of the site safety management system to meet ISO 45001 and KORE standards.
• Conduct, update, and monitor risk assessments and safety audits.
• Design and implement an annual safety program in partnership with plant functions.
• Oversee change‑management initiatives, safety procedures, and standard work instructions.
• Deliver training for new hires, contractors, and technical staff.
• Analyze safety performance data, produce reports for leadership, and use trends for predictive safety strategies.
• Manage emergency and incident response plans, coordinating with internal and external emergency services.
• Supervise plant security systems, manned guarding, and visitor protocols.
• Control the safety budget, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and negotiate with vendors.
• Provide strategic advice on fire prevention and protection to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in safety management, preferably with team‑leadership responsibilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results.
