Pharmacovigilance Project Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Pharmacovigilance Project Manager (Remote) leads the end‑to‑end delivery of pharmacovigilance services for one or more client accounts at Med Communications. Reporting to the Global Head of Pharmacovigilance, the role acts as the primary liaison between the client and the internal PV team, ensuring compliance, quality and timeliness across all safety activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for client communications, handling enquiries, coordinating meetings and governance reviews.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with client pharmacovigilance, regulatory, medical and quality stakeholders.
• Oversee day‑to‑day PV activities—including case processing, literature review, periodic and aggregate reporting, signal detection and risk management—ensuring adherence to SOPs and client‑specific procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding of new clients or product additions, including training, implementation planning and system access.
• Escalate service‑level deviations or compliance risks to senior leadership and identify opportunities for expanded services.

Required profile

• Senior, client‑facing professional with strong scientific and regulatory knowledge in pharmacovigilance.
• Proven project‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide functional oversight of PV Specialists without direct line‑management authority.
