Legal Contract Specialist

About the role

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Legal Contract Specialist to join its remote team on an independent‑contract basis. The role focuses on high‑volume commercial agreements for a global client base that includes founders, high‑growth companies, and institutional platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a steady pipeline of commercial contracts such as NDAs, master services agreements, vendor arrangements, and technology transactions.
• Ensure rapid turnaround while strictly following internal playbooks and legal standards.
• Partner with internal teams to apply strategic legal playbooks and manage cross‑border commercial considerations.
• Drive AI‑powered process automation, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions across legal and operational functions.
• Spot confidentiality and commercial risks, flag non‑standard terms, and escalate complex issues beyond the playbook.
• Collaborate with deal teams and stakeholders to align negotiation strategy and deliver accurate, timely contracts.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong interest in AI, innovation, and the future of legal services.
• Background in outsourcing and commercial contracting.
• Experience handling high‑value agreements and direct client interaction.
• LL.M. from a U.S. institution or eligibility for U.S. bar admission (preferred).
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
