Lead Care Manager – Senior Living

About the role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Lead Care Manager to oversee daily operations on a senior living shift. In this hands‑on leadership position you will guide a caregiving team, ensure high‑quality resident care, and model compassionate professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assign shift duties, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage to maintain optimal staffing.
• Provide direct assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and accurate documentation.
• Review resident charting for compliance with Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
• Monitor resident condition changes and promptly communicate concerns.
• Support onboarding, mentor new team members, and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions and uphold regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; minimum age 18.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making abilities.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior‑care environments.
