Language Services Representative (Account Manager)

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Language Services Representative to act as the primary liaison for internal and external clients in our language services division. You will manage complex client requirements, coordinate project handovers, and ensure high‑quality translation delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with key internal and external clients.
• Serve as the initial communication point, gather detailed client requirements, and triage incoming opportunities.
• Collaborate with production teams to assess scope, create cost estimates, and hand over projects to execution teams.
• Advise clients on translation best practices and budget guidelines.
• Troubleshoot project issues, identify workflow improvements, and attend client meetings as needed.
• Collect customer satisfaction data and act as an escalation point.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of proven account‑management experience, preferably in the localization industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, time‑management, and organizational skills.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
