KS3 & KS4 English Tutor

About the role

Learning Cubs is seeking enthusiastic KS3 and KS4 English tutors to join our small‑group, supplementary support centres. You will work with mixed‑ability groups of six children, helping them overcome learning gaps and develop confidence in English.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in a small‑group setting.
• Identify and address individual learning challenges, providing tailored support.
• Encourage students to ask questions, celebrate effort, and foster a love of learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere aligned with Learning Cubs’ values.

Required profile

• Passionate about education and able to inspire young learners.
• Experience working with children in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
• Enthusiastic, encouraging, and a strong role model for students.

Required skills

• Effective communication in English.

What we offer

• Part‑time schedule – 6 hours per week.
• Hourly rate between £10.00 and £15.00.
