Global Filings Team – Associate Counsel

About the role

The Global Filings Team (GFT) at JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate Counsel to support statutory corporate governance filings for LATAM and NAMR regions (excluding the U.S.). The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors to ensure accurate and timely filing submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track periodic and event‑based statutory filings such as financial statements, annual reports, director appointments, resignations, and entity name changes.
• Draft filing documents and collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Tax teams to compile supporting materials.
• Submit filings to Company Registrars where permitted or coordinate submissions with relevant stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory corporate governance filings, sending reminders and following up on deadlines.
• Prepare and deliver periodic reports on filing status, compliance metrics, and upcoming deadlines to senior leadership.
• Partner with technology teams to automate workflows, improve data quality, and enhance operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law; interest in corporate law is highly desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience in legal entity corporate governance, statutory filings, or related areas.
