Full-Time Medical Assistant – Mount Pleasant & Franklin, WI

About the role

Innovative Pain Care (IPC) is seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant to support patient care across its Mount Pleasant and Franklin, Wisconsin clinics. You will work directly with healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality clinical support.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist clinicians by taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and performing basic clinical tasks.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized examination rooms.
• Update and maintain accurate medical records and patient information.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow between clinics.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Travel between Mount Pleasant, Franklin, and Mequon clinics as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to manually measure blood pressure.
• Competence in taking vital signs and basic specimen collection.
