Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager is a senior leader at the Inn of the Five Graces, responsible for delivering a luxury guest experience across Guest Services, Valet, Grounds, and Spa. This role translates the property’s high standards into daily actions, ensuring every interaction reflects the Inn’s core values.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a visible, gracious presence throughout the property, greeting guests, escorting them to rooms, and maintaining luxury standards at every touchpoint.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, VIP arrivals, special requests, romance packages, spa bookings, and curated amenities with promptness and discretion.
• Manage all guest communications (email, phone, in‑person) professionally and timely.
• Supervise Guest Services Agents, Valet Attendants, and Night Auditors; handle staffing, scheduling, and performance standards.
• Oversee lobby and guest‑facing area upkeep, ensuring they remain immaculate and welcoming.
• Direct daily Front Office operations: arrivals, departures, guest folios, payment processing, deposits, and daily sheets.
• Act as Manager on Duty on a rotating basis, assuming broader operational responsibility during assigned shifts.
• Support reservations via phone and email, applying credit policies, reservation coding, and deposit requirements.
• Lead the valet team, ensuring safe vehicle handling, efficient arrivals/departures, and proper key and log management.

Required profile

• Senior member of the leadership team with direct accountability for guest experience.
• Strong presence and ability to interact warmly with guests and staff.
• Excellent judgment, empathy, and urgency in resolving guest concerns.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑department teams and maintain high service standards.
