Financial Analyst I

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join its finance team. The role supports global financial reporting, budgeting and analysis for the life‑sciences services business, providing insight to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver accurate financial reports, controls and procedures to meet group deadlines.
• Prepare, interpret and analyse financial data, business metrics and ad‑hoc reports for global management.
• Produce key reports such as annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, forecasting, monthly utilization, headcount, revenue backlog and gross profit for the assigned area.
• Create monthly financial reports and commentary, identifying opportunities to improve timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a primary contact for interpreting and investigating financial results, offering insights on business growth trends and profitability.
• Support finance leadership with miscellaneous projects as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Interest or experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry is preferred.
