Education Officer – Foundational Learning (Full‑time)

About the role

The Education Officer – Foundational Learning will support UNICEF Argentina’s education portfolio by providing technical, operational and administrative assistance for the design, monitoring and evaluation of programmes that improve language and mathematics learning outcomes. Working under the Education Specialist, the role contributes to professional development of teachers, principals and education officers across primary and secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme development and planning for foundational learning initiatives.
• Manage programme implementation, monitoring and delivery of results.
• Provide technical and operational assistance to ensure effective programme execution.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• Works under the supervision of the Education Specialist.
• Supports professional development of educational officers, principals and teachers.
• Responsible for development planning and delivery of programme results.
• Prepares, executes and manages technical and administrative programme tasks.
