Desktop Support Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Administrator to join the IT team of an international technology company in Buenos Aires. In this hands‑on position you will ensure a seamless technology experience for employees by managing the full lifecycle of hardware, software and endpoint solutions while providing high‑quality end‑user support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, peripherals and printers.
• Configure, deploy and maintain end‑user devices, including onboarding new employees.
• Manage endpoint devices: enrollment, configuration, OS updates and software deployment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and operating system issues across macOS, Windows and Linux.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment.
• Respond to support requests promptly, keeping users informed throughout the resolution process.
• Assist with hardware refreshes, software upgrades and device replacements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and SOPs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve IT support processes.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in desktop support, endpoint administration or systems administration.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to work with global teams.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Support experience with macOS, Windows and Linux environments.
• Endpoint Management or Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Hardware, software and networking troubleshooting.
• Operating system updates and software deployment.
• Inventory management of IT assets.
