Corporate Counsel – Argentina

About the role

The Corporate Counsel will act as the primary legal advisor for the Italian subsidiary and the EU Energy Storage business, providing strategic guidance and ensuring legal compliance across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, finance, marketing, HR, and operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks while establishing sustainable compliance programs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including sales, EPC, vendor, client, employment, and supplier agreements.
• Develop and enforce policies to ensure regulatory adherence and ethical conduct.
• Oversee litigation strategy, manage external counsel, and represent the company when required.
• Protect intellectual property by coordinating with the IP department.
• Participate in executive decision‑making, offering legal perspectives on new markets and product launches.
• Lead and mentor the internal legal team and collaborate with external law firms and works council representatives.

Required profile

• Law degree with admission to practice in Italy or the EU.
• 8+ years of corporate law experience, preferably with a mix of private practice and in‑house roles in the manufacturing or energy sector.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex sales and EPC contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strategic, commercial mindset aligned with business objectives.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and resilience.
