Business Development Representative – Textile Industry

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive growth for a leading garment accessories and tailoring materials group. You will focus on acquiring new B2B customers in the textile sector, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the company’s expansion across China.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect high‑potential textile customers, conduct regular visits and convert leads into orders.
• Perform ongoing market and competitor research to inform sales strategies.
• Introduce new product lines to customers, gather market pricing, and relay information to Chinese colleagues for order generation.
• Travel within the country as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by senior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the textile or fabric industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep understanding of sales processes and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Proven presentation abilities and experience with sales techniques and strategies.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively.

What we offer

• Basic salary: $1,000‑$1,200 per month.
• Performance salary: $200‑$300 per month.
• Monthly bonus: $300‑$500 per new customer order.
• Transportation allowance: approximately $200 per month.
