Associate Test & Validation Engineer (Entry-Level)

About the role

The Associate Test & Validation Engineer is an entry‑level position that applies basic engineering principles to test and validate Allegro’s semiconductor products. Working under close supervision, you will execute test plans, collect data and report findings while learning the validation process, test equipment and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute established test procedures on bench setups or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Support senior engineers by setting up test hardware, running experiments and gathering test data.
• Carry out specific portions of larger validation plans following detailed instructions.
• Document test setups, procedures and results clearly for engineering review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field preferred).
• No prior professional experience required.
• Basic understanding of analog and digital circuits and standard laboratory equipment.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Python (or similar scripting language).
• LabVIEW.
• Analog and digital circuit knowledge.
• Experience with test equipment such as ATE or bench‑level setups.
• Data acquisition and documentation.
