Agentic Software Engineer – Data & AI Platforms

About the role

Join Acsys as an Agentic Software Engineer focused on Data & AI Platforms. You will work remotely from Argentina on a global project for a leading multinational, directing AI coding agents, reviewing their output, and owning production results.

Key responsibilities

• Specify precise, testable requirements for AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot or Factory.ai.
• Review generated code for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and support production‑grade software in Python, Java, C#, Scala or TypeScript.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, dbt, Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
• Design, implement and operate backend services and REST APIs at enterprise scale, primarily with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage services on Microsoft Azure, including storage, IAM, secrets and networking.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, automated testing and branching strategies.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience directing AI coding agents and critically evaluating their output.
• Strong ability to write clear, testable specifications.
• Proven track record of shipping and supporting production code.
• Comfortable owning end‑to‑end features in small, agile pods using a Kanban workflow.
