Accounting Manager – Finance Operations (Buenos Aires)

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its Finance Operations team in Buenos Aires. The role supports US and LATAM clients, delivering end‑to‑end finance services from transaction processing to statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of seniors and staff, overseeing daily activities and serving as the final review before client delivery.
• Manage manual journal entries, month‑end closing, management reports, and adjustments.
• Prepare full financial statements, including GAAP to GAAP adjustments, balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and complementary notes (financial instruments, deferred tax, leasing, etc.).
• Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients during transition and post‑go‑live phases.
• Coach junior team members, ensure consistent service across GDS locations (India, US on‑shore), and monitor operational metrics.
• Analyze budget vs. actuals and prepare project budgets.

Required profile

• Accounting degree (CPA) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in shared service centres or external audit environments.
• Proven track record in complex project transitions and ERP or IT tool implementations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency.
